Site Update 05/2019

I have moved almost everything from my old site to this one — just a few white papers left.

One is a information sheet I created in 1999 for a presentation to a bee keepers group in Pittsboro. I checked, 95% of the links I included are dead. I’m debating on whether to update this document for publishing now, or not. I’m leaning towards not.

This site now has a new theme. I dug through dozens of free themes to find Button, which I really liked.

Unfortunately, I did not look into the background — Button has not been supported in years. Yeah, ya get what ya paid for.

I tried the free version of Hueman, which also worked well. I was going to stick with it … until the vendor had a major sale on the Pro version — $60 for unlimited sites and life time updates.

Ok, this sounds fantastic! I’m set for life, right????

Well … no. This theme will probably be supported for another 3 or 4 years, then it will be sunsetted. But if I get at least 2 years out of it across my web sites, I’ll be satisfied.
