Wine 2021 – Update #02

Our plans changed again. The ship date for the grapes kept slipping, eventually landing on 15 October. Then on the 12th we were notified the date slipped again to the 22nd. Due to COVID, Musto had trouble getting pickers and packers.

Unfortunately, my son gets married next weekend.

Oops! I had to cancel my grape order!!!

Plan B — we are ordering 6 kits: 3 Super Tuscan, and 1 each Syrah, Petite Sirah, and Merlot. This will keep the barrels filled and will be close to what was intended. It’s not ideal, but it works.

The show must go on!
